“Pure Water Is Now N20? What Is Left For The Common Man?”, Walter Anga Laments

Nollywood actor Walter Anga has been left wondering what the hope of the common man is in Nigeria and what is left for same as he found out sachet water, popularly known as Pure Water is now sold for 20 naira.
Back in the days, a sachet of water costed 5 naira, drinks sold for 50 naira and even lesser. But unfortunately, the prices of commodities increased and in Nigeria, nothing of such ever goes back to former price, not to say, lesser. Most recently, bottles of soft drinks which used to be sold for N100 naira are now sold for N150 without tangible explanation, and table water from N50 to N100.Taking to his Instagram page to lament, Walter Anga shared a picture of him holding a sachet water, predicting that a time will come in the Giant of Africa when the poor will feed from the rich by force.

A sachet of pure water is now #20…What is left for a common man? When he can’t afford to buy 2k units for electricity in a month talkless of him paying his house rent @150k annually and minimum wage is #30k. Time dey come when the poor will feed from the rich by fire by force“, he wrote.
